These cars have been repossessed from many different criminal and illegal activates and have been made available for the public to buy. The way that the price is determined is by bidding. Obviously this means that the more people present the higher the price tag will be. In many auctions you may be able to find cars which are being priced at anywhere from 50%-80% lower than the retail price.
There are many different ways in which you can go about finding these seized vehicle auctions. Of course these auctions won’t be big in advertising but there are few places you can find them. Personally I find that the best auctions often come by word of mouth. If you are attending government auctions regularly then you would also know people who do the same. While many people tend to keep any auction info a secret, others do share their guidance. It’s no surprise why this is so, come on would you want to tell 100 people of a place that you can get a brand new car 50% off? I think not.
